The Finance Department is responsible for the coordination and preparation of the annual budget, grant administration, and financial reporting for the County.

DEPARTMENT SERVICES

• Monitor revenues and expenditures for compliance with established budgets
• Provide monthly budget reports to all departments
• Review and issue purchase orders
• Process payments to vendors (Accounts Payable)
• Administration of bi-weekly payroll for approximately 350 County employees

Includes all general, special revenue, debt service, and enterprise funds.  Excludes Capital, Internal Service, Trust and Agency Funds.  Also excludes Medical Care, Mental Health and Road Commission Funds.
