The CCW law in Michigan requires the issuance of concealed weapons permits to any citizen who has met certain requirements.
Applications for Concealed Pistol License (CPL) are available at the Sheriff's Office or the Marquette County Clerk and by clicking on this link:

Read Firearms Laws of Michigan for more information and complete the following steps:
- Complete the CPL Training Class. Class locations, fees and dates vary from month to month.
- Complete an application and bring to the County Clerk's Office along with the CPL Training Certificate and $115 payable to the Marquette County Clerk
- Fingerprinting is required for new applicants and is processed at the Marquette City Police Department, 300 W Baraga Avenue, Marquette. For more information on fingerprinting, please call the City Police at (906) 228-0400.
