Misdemeanor Offenses
If you have been arrested or given an appearance ticket on a misdemeanor offense, you should have a date to appear before the Court for arraignment. If you were not given a date at the time of your ticket/arrest, contact the Court immediately to schedule an arraignment at (906) 225-8235 (Marquette) or (906) 485-5579 (Ishpeming). Our usual arraignment dates and times are as follows:

Many minor misdemeanor and most non-traffic civil infraction violations allow for appearance before the Magistrate. The Marquette office conducts Magistrate arraignments on Tuesdays at 8:30am and 3:30pm. The Ishpeming office allows walk-in arraignments between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on normal business days, with a break for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Feel free to call the office to verify the availability of the Magistrate if you need to make an appearance.
