Will there be a charge for visits?

Charges for students who are uninsured are based on a sliding fee scale.  Both private and public insurances will be billed.  No student will be refused services due to inability to pay.

How can students be seen in the school based clinic?

Students must have a consent form signed by their parent/guardian to receive care, if they are under the age of 18.

How will the clinic staff work with your primary care providers?

We encourage continuity of care and will communicate with the student’s primary care provider.  The signature on the parent/guardian consent form allows the HHC and the child’s primary care physician to exchange health care information for the purpose of continuity and coordination of care according to State and Federal laws.  Clients have the right to decline sharing this information with their primary care provider.
