Children's Special Health Care Services
Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) is a state and federally funded program that helps to cover the cost of medical care and treatment for Michigan children up to the age 21 who have certain chronic medical conditions. Families of all incomes are eligible to join including those with other health insurance. Some families, based on their income, pay a fee to join. CSHCS and health care providers partner with the family for the best care.
CSHCS may be able to help with paying specialty medical bills, covering co-pays and deductibles from private insurance and transportation needs.
