Area prevention agencies and concerned citizens work to implement county-wide strategies to prevent substance abuse. The coalition maintains a library of substance brochures, posters and books on various prevention topics. The coalition also offers a mini-grant opportunity to agencies who are undertaking substance abuse prevention activities in Marquette County.

The Community Health Division maintains a leadership role with The Marquette County Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention Coalition (MC2). Coalition meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month from 11:30 AM. until 1:00 PM at the Marquette Alger RESA Building.
