GENERAL INFORMATION:

COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a newly discovered (novel) coronavirus called SARS-COV-2 that is currently spreading across the globe.  The current national goal is to slow community spread of COVID-19.

Although deaths have been reported in the media, the majority of people who "get" the virus will have mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.  The population at greatest risk of having serious health concerns from COVID-19 are the elderly and people with chronic medical conditions.
