Road Closures (Updated May 15, 2013)
The Marquette County Road Commission has reopened the following roads that were previously closed due to washout:
County Road JJG (Grimes Road) approximately 1.2 miles east of M35
County Road 478 (Greenwood Reservoir Road) approximately 4.3 miles East of County Road 601/1.5 miles West of County Road CO

The Marquette County Road Commission maintains 283.85 miles of primary roads and 988.25 miles of local roads. In addition, we maintain 169.42 miles (444 lane miles) of state trunkline under contract with the Michigan Department of Transportation. We are also responsible for the maintenance of 93 bridges.
The Road Commission’s main source of revenue is the Michigan Transportation Fund, along with various state and federal grants.
