Please note:  Beginning December 1, 2018, the inmates at the Marquette County Jail will no longer be allowed to receive mail through the United States Postal Service.  To communicate with an inmate, please log on to to send an e-message.  The inmate may still receive mail from their attorney, the Courts and Clergy via the USPS.

Youth Police Academy 

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office Youth Police Academy is a 16 hour block of instruction designed to give the community a better working knowledge of law enforcement operations, policies, and procedures.  The Academy will consist of a series of classes, held once each week on Tuesday’s for two hours.  The instruction will be comprehensive, covering a different area of law enforcement operations each week.  Sheriff Deputies, Police Officers, and Supervisors will provide the instruction. The Youth Academy is open to anyone in grades 7-12. The first class will be held November 6, 2018 and go for 8 weeks.  Please print the packet below and return the application to the Sheriff's Office.
